Big moves this week. Have had a few of the parts for a while but ill have most of it by the end of the week. Probably forgetting a bunch of stuff, its been a busy 2 days of lining up and ordering stuff.

Lq9 and 4l80e with 45k and 47k on them
Tbss intake, 90mm TB, Adj. FPR (pump will blow through vette filter option)
799 heads
34" radiator and OEM fans
Walboro 400 w/42 lb injectors

Put my order in with TSP.

Should be running 11:1 compression. Est. 400-410 to the wheels. 4l80e eats up quite a bit, would be closer to 440-450 with a 4l60e im told. Not really worried about numbers as im just looking for something fun to drive and beat up on a few vehicles that think they are fast. 4x4 and traction will be my friend.

Need to order a converter (3600, not sure on brand), transfer case input shaft and seal, get my rear shaft shortened and buy a new front shaft. 40k tru cool and trans lines as well.

Also LTs and ORY, cutout pipe and electric cut out, muffler etc.

Trying to decide on wheels yet. I would rather have 20s for performance wise (tires, sidewall) but i cant really find any I like. I cant get away from the TBSS wheels.

Its getting there. It needs to be all together and running by the first week of May. Needless to say ill have a busy month and a half

got the lq9 for 1000. Has a bad head so they gave me a deal. only has 45k on it. 4l80e has 50 k i think and that was 800. radiator and fans were $150 combined. I think I came out pretty good. Have a lot of work to do in the next month and a half lol.

Do you have a wiring diagram for your 4l80e swap? I know you have to swap a few wires at the ECM or at the trans, i cant remember what thought

I didn't do a segment swap on mine, i did the relay mod, i wanted to be able to lock up my converter and not unlock when i let go of the gas. Basically run the 4L80 on a 4L60 Tune. We were having issues cause my Operating system on the PCM was Flex fuel, and as far as i know there isn't any Flex fuel vehicles that came with a 4L80 trans, so a segment swap was out of the question, the only alternative was to trick the PCM thinking it it still had a 4L60 in it, in your case you shouldn't have a problem with this

i do have the diagram but it's inside of the tahoe which is currently in storage, anyways when go get the truck, i'll pm you a picture of it.

No worries, I think I found it. Swap a few wires in the trans plug, add a VSS sensor and put the pins in the ECM harness and I should be set.

Got all of my tcase and trans parts on the way.
Going to order a Circle D Pro Series 258mm multidisk 3500. Figure I should go multi disk in case i ever tow or WOT lock up.

Have some headers lined up, fuel pump, injectors etc. Almost have all of the parts finally.

Decided on 22" TBSS Polished Reps with a 275/40/22 Nitto 420s. They are a little over 30" tall, which is more than I wanted but it will give me a little more sidewall.

Thanks man, its getting there. I just need to start tearing it apart and get going on it. At least this spring ill have the drivetrain done. Once this part is done, it needs some body work (rockers, corners, new box) etc. But at least ill be able to beat the shit out of it haha.

got some goodies today from Texas Speed. Going to begin tear down on the motor this weekend. Should have it all together and painted by next week.

haha hell ya, i cant wait. Getting the heads put together tomorrow. I dont have a valve spring tool, and NAPA will do the valve seals and install the springs for $30. Ill take that. Hopefully get the tcase pulled next week and get the new input put in that. Just have to get the shift kit put in the trans and I should be good to go. I have all of my parts (besides a few im picking up in 2 weeks) so I dont see why it shouldnt be running by the end of April. Sooner if possible. Weather is still ****** here so motivation is low.

Moar goodies. Think I have almost everything for the trans swap now. Input shaft, bearing and seal should be in the next few days, dropped the driveshaft off last night. Just need to order the new front shaft (from a 8.1 and allison truck) and converter

I was thinking about that. I mentioned it to the guy but didn't decide on anything yet. I find tons of 1350 u joints for the silverado. What one should I be looking for? I can get 1 1/16 and 1 1/8 OD. Just need to know which ones to order. Are they the same on both ends of the dshaft?

Converter has been ordered. Circle D Pro Series Multi Disk 258mm 3b (3500 stall speed). Decided to go with the Multi disk for WOT lock up and if I ever decide to tow anything. Havent skimped on anything yet, might as well not start lol.

Got the motor tore down yesterday. Got it all painted up today and should have it back together tomorrow. Just waiting on the heads to get back and the motor will be done.

The thing was spotless. I forgot how easy they are to tear down. Had it stripped in about an hour.

Getting the motor back together. Just waiting on the heads to get done and I should be all set on the motor. Hopefully get the shift kit put in the trans and get the input swapped in the tcase this weekend. Shit might get the motor pulled next week.
