Hello all, new to the forum and new to the GMT800 platform. I just picked up a 2006 Yukon SLT with some issues. Runs, drives, stops, not in terrible shape considering I paid $1000. Drove it home but it needs some work.

I'll probably be asking some questions and researching here on the forum but here's what I know so far.

Needs rear shocks - Has regular shocks on it but it's a ZW7 & G65 coded Yukon.
Brake, ABS, and T/C lights are on - suspect it needs wheel speed sensors in the front.
Check engine light on for Evap Vent Selenoid, I cleared it and it came right back so I'll investigate that.
Frame needs patching on the driver's side near the gas tank. Rest of the frame seems solid.

Bad part is I don't have a garage and it's getting cold here in NH. I'll be paying someone to fix the frame, I'm not a welder. The rest I plan to do myself if I can find the time before it starts snowing.

Welcome to the Forum from another NH member.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Nice find.

The truck looks solid, and you are already assessing what needs to be worked on now, and what can wait until later.

BTW, there are at least 2 members living in southern NH, me and @Fubar0715, and I believe that there is another member living farther up north in NH.
