Need to get some of the PPV adhesives off a new to us PPV

Wondering what y'all used to remove the remnant adhesives from the police lights hopefully without damaging the finish. I was thinking that Goof Off is too harsh and will dull the gloss.

You can use Goo Gone/adhesive remover product, Wd-40, Buffing compound, if it really on there you can use Decal Eraser Wheel. Can you PM me if you have the controller box, and the lights for the Outer Edge kit.

All the above mentioned, then I'd definitely cut it with an orbital and some good compound. I had to do the same where the sun baked the finish from 10+ years of service, it was like brand new under the decals.
