Midlothian lot...ugh

I ordered a 2022 Yukon Denali that was produced during the first week of production for the 22s in early October. It was sent to the Midlothian lot on October 17th. It sat there for almost two months until the end of last week when it shipped. I have an ETA of 12/20 but time will tell if I actually get it then. My dealer could not explain to me why other Yukons, that were built after mine, were showing up at the dealership. He said there was nothing we could do but be patient. There was no rhyme or reason to the chosen ones. I especially feel for those of you with 2021s. I still do not understand why GM would ship a 22 when there are still 21s on MP hold.

Picked up my 22 Tahoe 4wd LT Saturday after ordering it on 10/01/21. Think it came from TX. Dealer in southern IA. Paid msrp.

so after sitting in Midlothian since October 13, she has moved to the Arlington "cowboy lot" yesterday.. hopefully, a quick chip install and will be on its way.....

Dealer is telling me it came with everything with no restrictions. I ordered the ultimate 2022, But I am holding my breath, expecting it to be missing something....

Looks like yours was built the first or second week of production if it was in that lot beginning on the 13th. Check to see if your truck is showing up on the GMC inventory site or your dealers site. As soon as the window sticker posts, you will know exactly what is included/missing. Mine shipped last week after being in that lot starting around that time. The only things missing on mine are the auto start/stop (which is good that it is missing) and the steering column lock. Hopefully yours will be the same.

Interesting. I’m a fellow Oct 13th - was a dealer order that I put a deposit on.
Maybe things are progressing…

I had the same issue. My dealership was able award me with $1500 GMC dollars for accessories and installation as a show retaining customer satisfaction. I would ask your dealership if something is available from GMC for the delay.

I received a letter from GMC stating my dealership asked that a credit be given. It is a 1 time credit for parts and accessories only.

Should be in transit to your dealer if it’s on their website or at least at the rail yard waiting to ship.

I’ve probably checked 100 VINs in the last 2 weeks and would say 90% of “in transit” are stuck in the Midlothian lot, presumably under 4D00 hold for chips. So no “in transit” does not mean they are going anywhere, necessarily

In transit doesn't mean anything other then it is built weather complete or not. My 21 that I cancelled has been showing in transit on dealer website since Oct 3rd. It is at naval storage with hail damage. Already ordered my 22 and got it last night...

Hmm that’s interesting. They must not be consistent with it then. I have only seen stuff show in transit after they have hit the shuttle lot. I know for a fact my 22 never showed in transit and was in Midlothian since Oct 15th.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I’ve had Yukon’s since 2007, this is my first Tahoe and certainly the first one I’ve had to order. The Jeff cooper site shows it was delivered to Midlo on the 13th. So I’m assuming it may be there for a bit.
