This is an amazing thread! I get a queasy feeling just thinking about the cc statements, im sure you know the fed ex/ups by first name at this point? Come on man, put the key in the ignition? We are all getting anxious out here!

Around Christmas Mike the UPS guy just back up to my garage a good 1/4 of the truck was my stuff.

You want to spec your stall to the cam. The idea is for the stall to be 500 rpm above where the cam starts making power. I had a 26-2800 circle d and liked how tight it was, but at times it felt too tight. I went to a Precision Industries 3k billet triple disc (5yr warranty, free restall within 1st 2 years). It gets into the power quicker and is slightly looser, but I like it.

Also you want to spec a PD blower cam with less overlap. U don't need a big cam for forced induction application. My Vinci trucker cam is real close to the BTR stage 3 truck cam specs but i have a 6.0 and it's a blower cam. What works in a forged 402 may be a big cam in a 5.3. It will be weak down low and you will need to compensate with more stall. No amount of tuning will help that.

Not sure I totally agree with this... A properly spec cam for a Positive Displacement Blower will make more power with less boost.

Bikes are super fun, but supercharged truck different ball game, usually people don't expect to get smoked by 6000 lbs elephant. I think I be happy with 600-650 HP.

I've blown past motorcycles at 130mph before with the bike having a 2 car head start at 80mph. It was a 2015 CBR600RR, he was shocked and couldn't believe it when we stopped to chat. Freaking priceless to say the least.

*I have a 1,200hp 67 Camaro and I get more compliments in my Yukon. I live for hurting feelings in my elephant lmao, no greater feeling

To clarify I didnt mean getting a bike for speed vs the truck... I want a blower for towing power and a new bike has been on my radar just because (plus the new Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE is sick)

But I can see myself doing the same as Chris if I go the blower route and basically redoing everything.... for more than the bike costs. Dont really need either, and one is infinitely less work as well lol

yeah I hear you, I was only putting a blower on at first, but it just hard to resist the dollar spent ratio to HP with the other mods complementing SC.

Not a stupid question.... Get ahold of Chris or Glenn @ Circle D and see what they suggest. I got the 265mm Pro Series Triple Disc. 2,800 stall in the 1A Stator combo (for a tight stall in a heavy truck). I got mine from GWATNEY Performance for $1175 shipped direct from Circle D. They do one free stall change or repair if you blow it as many of the high end companies do. I considered others, always came back to Circle D. Nothing but great things and service from them.

I ordered my directly from circle D and got a free t-shirt lol

Only because I'm familiar with the article and really a source of what I said...not that I'm disagreeing...and I quote"Typically the positive-displacement, supercharged cam profiles offer wide lobe separations and minimal (or negative) overlap".

The only question would be what does the torque curve look like. If you offloading you not running tinto the higher rpms. But it seems the OP has already decided on a cam so we'll see how it goes.

@Tonyrodz, Wanted to put my truck on the dyno today, to see where am I at number wise, so went to Wicked Motorsports down on Route 37 but they couldn't fit the truck in the shop because of the setup they have raised dyno and low overhead doors. Tried Procom Racing across the street but they do it by appointment only and it was at the time of their lunch break. Not my day or people not in the business to make fast money. Will try Tune Time Performance in Lakewood tomorrow.

Where are they in Lakewood? I'm around there occassionally, I was there today.
