Never taken proper pics of the 99 Tahoe until today, so here y'all go.

It's a 4x4 with a rear belltech truck flip kit which works perfect for anyone reading this, you just can't use the notch so order without. In Canada I was looking at 500 bucks for a 2 door hoe flip kit, and I bought a 98 Silverado flip for 210 dollars full belltech, and it worked perfect.

Then front bump stops cut an inch from gone, belltech sp shocks all around, and belltech drop keys

Didnt measure to start, but it is for sure no doubt a solid 4/7 drop.

20x7.5 front wheel with 72mm positive offset running 255/40/20 front, and 305/35/20 rear.

Thanks man.

I threw all the beer cans away for scale. So here is my nnbs with a 4.5/7 looking tall.

Ladies and gentlemen.. dont be scared for a slammed 4x4. They are great for not only road conditions, but planting big power. Been running dropped everything 4x4 since 2001.

Ok I looking in doing this to my 99 hoe 4x4.

So get a 98 Silverado flip kit ? No c notch needed and which belltech sp shocks to get for front and back?

How is the ride being that low?

Thanks in advance

I used a 98 or 97 or whatever silverado flip kit with no notch, but will be installing a slamair rear helper bag kit soon. It's too low in the rear by about a half inch, and also smacks axle fairly easy. I know it will be perfect with the helper bags.

As for the ride it's a little bouncy right now because it is getting onto the cut down front bump stops a little early still, it rides awesome on smaller bumps, just when you get into a medium sized and larger bump, you can feel it get onto the stops.

think the flip kit will work the same for a 4 door?

I dont see why not. You cant use the leaf springs from a 2 door in a 4 door, but you can use the diff from a 2 door in a 4 door. That should mean the mounting situation is the same between the two as far as the axle saddles and such.

Little late but being I just debagged my 96 2x4 I was able to gain dual shocks in front as I had outboard added KYBs from the bag upgrade and back to coils inserted McGaughys inside coils. Very effective front damping. Since removing rear helper bags I'm looking to work up duals in the rear.

And your ride looks killer.

Anyone have part numbers on what they have used to accomplish this? I'm looking to do the same thing and its seems as though no one ever includes the part numbers for reference.

I know this is an old post, but any updates?
I just bought a 1994 2-door Tahoe 4x4 and I plan to do the same.

What is the offset and wheel size of the rear wheels?
