I'm not sure, everything I read said that the RK was their economy line and CK was their Premium line.

I know the CK series is their "Problem Solver" series for whatever that is worth. They market the problem solver stuff as being an improved design over stock.

You are correct though, the RK series has a 36 month warranty while the CK is lifetime.

Short Answer: R Series is a value-driven replacement part while the CK Series incorporates Moog’s premium Problem Solver components for a better than OE upgrade.

Yeah I was wrong- the K and CK is the same part while the RK has non replaceable ball joints. But I see a lot of chatter where plenty of people are confused since it seems at least some of them appear to be exactly the same part between CK and RK, like you’re experiencing- which leads me to believe that on something like rear control arms where there are no ball joints it’s possible they just sell them with different part numbers so they can charge more for the warranty but only have to produce one part which saves them money, or makes them money however you want to look at it.

Are you talking about the poly bushing for the rack?

If so, it was a real pain to get the bushing back onto the rack once it was inside the bracket.

Yes, thanks. I was concerned about that. I have some slop in mine I would like to eliminate. I was thinking about how to use the rack as a press to push it on if I do it. Or I was considering fabricating a more solid clamp arrangement.

So my guess is they are going to be phasing out the Lifetime warranty.

I think Moog, which is part of Federal Mogul, was bought out by a huge megacorp a couple years back. Might be part of the issue.

Yep... thats what I was thinking as well.

In the end, who knows. I will definitely be looking closely at the warranty offered on future purchases of Moog parts just to be safe.
