how to read my dipstick

2007 4.8 tahoe my dipstick just has 4 or 5 holes in it no lettering or add oil or full ? do i go by the holes 3 holes covered in oil add 2 quarts? just dont know

you know I never looked at my dipstick get my oil changed and thats it guess i should check it dont no whats full or low never new they had holes in them good luck

I would fill it to the 3rd. If its low the low oil message would come on.
