I see this and I'm wondering if it's worth it. I'm especially curious how good the wiring diagrams in it are
Hi I don't bother with eBay CD manuals as shipping and handling also delivery time so I got manuals for both of my Yukons 2016 and 2022 here https://repairmanualnow.com/product-category/cars/gmc/I see this and I'm wondering if it's worth it. Do these manuals have hot links and are they searchable?Hi I don't bother with eBay CD manuals as shipping and handling also delivery time so I got manuals for both of my Yukons 2016 and 2022 here https://repairmanualnow.com/product-category/cars/gmc/
Okay, I got one for my 2001 Yukon.

My take? It's just passable.
-There's LOTS of missing wiring diagrams and several empty pages where wiring diagrams should be.

There's literally 25 pages in a row that look like this!
-Using Ctrl+f to search doesn't work often enough.
For example, I was looking directly at a page for pinion flange replacement yet searching the word 'pinion flange' yielded 0 results.
-Weird printing errors where text overlaps each other all over the place

It was like $8 and it shows. As it is, I guess it's better than nothing. I ended up just going to my library's website and accessing a car repair site through them; much cleaner and easier to navigate.
"just answer" recently did this, up until very recently you could read a posted answer, now it is covered (pay wall) and they want you to subscribe instead,I did the library route as well but the information is lacking and not even equivalent to Alldatadiy information. Looking for full diagrams with part numbers for wiring, connectors, pins, harness clamps and such. I don't want to pay big $$ since the new Alldatadiy pricing went into effect. I'm not a full on mechanic but I am a shade tree pro..lol. seems the dealer parts websites have been neutered of such information starting 7 or so years ago. Never found an explanation for this. My guess is they realized they were giving away too much diy info and want you coming into the dealer service dept more.
If it’s a factory or OEM manual, it’s likely worth it. The wiring diagrams in those are usually detailed and accurate. Just make sure the listing shows sample pages or has good reviews to avoid poor-quality scans.I bought an eBay service manual once for my old car, and it was a bit of a disappointment. The wiring diagrams were almost unreadable, and some of the repair procedures were missing steps. It's a bit of a gamble because you don’t know the quality until after you’ve purchased it. If you're doing basic maintenance, it might be sufficient, but for more complex repairs, especially for car service manual PDF, it's better to go for autocarmanual Workshop Manual. Spending a bit more on a reliable manual can save you time and frustration in the long run.
