Thanks, to be honest i like it as much as any other car ive had. If it had keyless entry and push button id just keep it forever, but hoping to get 3-5 years out of it before i move on to something else.
I have Compustar remote start on my DD for 5 years. It works great, best money I spent on it. Nice long range and zero problems with it.

Agreed. Just the fully keyless part i miss. I have the t12 with app on my phone from anywhere in the world for lock unlock and remote start with GPS location. I just want push button and keyless entry.

Had already replaced the door weather seals and thought I still had excessive wind noise so I tracked it to the sunroof. Figured I just needed a new seal and to reset the height. Turns out the plastic had pulled away from the glass so getting that glued up tonite. Just in time for spring rains here in the Midwest. Hopefully have it back together tomorrow.

Putting a new gasket on the sunroof is nearly impossible! I tried once for about 3 hours.
Now i have a different sunroof and a new gasket on the shelf.

I got a good section of it started before I realized what the real issue was. I did not get to the corner yet tho. Only time will tell. Hopefully report back tomorrow with better news lol

Finishing up passenger side, wife got called into work yesterday so I got to spend about an hour in the garage instead of most the day. Trying to catch up today.

Goals:
Escalade mirror swap
Sound deaden doors
New OEM exterior handles
Puddle lights on with dome lights
OEM style speaker replacements (temp)

Good thing too, appears to have been “repaired” at some point

Finally got some time to work on the truck this weekend. Got my OEM repainted PPG fender and front bumper installed. LED fogs, OEM valance, black lower grill, and OEM liners installed today. Almost time to get her detailed for the summer after a couple more items to finish up. About a month and a half away from headers, cam and exhaust!

That is starting to look brand NEW! Nice work. Are you doing all the painting? Just curious if you have a shop or friend helping. Local shops would want a ton to do these small jobs. I need to repaint the Black trim above the tail lights and above the rear window deck lid on my 08 Denali. 148,000 miles now. It has needed a bunch of repairs in the past year, front and rear axle rebuilds, new Torque converter, LUK installed along with new rear main seal. Pan dropped and new Oring and presssure releif valve installed. New rear shocks and compressor.

Have you figured out how to repair the Lumbar adjust on the driver seat? I need to fix that some day. Driver side heated seat bottom stopped working? Back still gets hot but not the bottom. Always something but they are a nice ride.

If the lumbar support is not working it is most likely the support itself broken in half.
I could not find a reasonably priced, not cracked DR side. Took a chance and the passenger side metal support was the same. Easy to swap over. Works great.

Thanks for that tip SpareParts, a wrecking yard is sure to have a passenger side I could pick up. My wife would not allow me to steal her side. I guess I couild fix the heated seat while in there for repairs.
