How are the spyder projectors to with? are they hard to work with on retrofit then the Depo's?

Are they better type of headlight than the Depo's?

Thank you all again for your help and input.

I've heard the Spyders(Sonars) are a pain to get open. As far as out-of-the-box, most say the depos are better. If you don't mind the look of the oem's, they might be the easiest to work with and more space.

It's depend how you like the look. I have both Spyder and Depo but I start with Spyder first thinking Depo will be my backup. After I'm done with Spyder and work on Depo with FX-R then sold it for my friend so I think the Spyder is much easy to work with. And of course the FX-R projector is far better then H1 projector. I'm planing to buy another set of Spyder to put the S2000 projector on since I just got one from Craigslist.

That is correct but it's a pain to put big projector like FX-R on and it require lots of trimming. But Spyder is very easy if using the H1 projector, it's like plug and play since you only need to remove the housing len.

Holy shit. I just noticed you have an LTZ. Those 06 Suburbans with the LTZ package are pretty damn rare. I wish I had one. And much props on the headlights. They look awesome!

I'm waiting for a few more parts to work on my S2000 projector with Spyder housing and if able to finish them I'll will let you have current set with same price I pay for the parts (projector and housing).

I'm really happy with the H1 & Spyder but after I saw S2000 retrofit drive by and I want them but I want it better so I'm thinking doing quad; S2000 on low and either H1 or fx-r on high.

Quads MH1 on aftermarket OEM housing? You can't install the bulb without remove the bracket of the housing (bulb too long) because if you aim the low then the hi projector will be off, unless you want the hi as high beam only so no need to aim. I pumped into this issue when I do a quads retro for my friend which he wanted both low and hi projector to be on as low-beam and for hi-beam will happen when trigger the solenoid. So my solution is have to cut the reflector and do 60 sec epoxy while aim for straight line. It's took me two nights just for the alignment. (but I gain my experiment for my next quads)

For the fog, I was follow DenaliAK and ordered P1 projector but when I test it, the wide is not close to my MH1 so I switch out for blazer projector.

In where I live, there was not many fog at all but everyone have fog light on all the time whether it dry or wet so I thinking it's like a show light somehow. But for me, I remove the 3000K and put in the 4300K to match with my MH1 and adjust it as high as it can be to the MH1 (low beam). And when it on, it's is bright and wide wall to wall doesn't matter what lane I'm on. But my priority is making sure it's not blind or glare to others so I was asking a friendly cops met at 7-eleven "was my light bright? Yes! Was it give you any glare? No, it's fine to me" then he took off.
