I've been looking to perform this for a couple years, have found a few options and one was the Morimoto XB Hybrid but are only available with the black interior.

For me, I think they look great, but I would want the silver/chrome for the lighter colored vehicles, especially for my diamond tri-coat. I've called them and asked a year ago and also recently....they said no plans to make a housing with the silver OE style interior.

Another option is opening a second set of housings and performing my own either HID or LED conversion....which would be the cheaper option.

I did reach out to HID Retrofit and was pleased to hear they have the Bi-Xenon LED conversion for the 2007-2014 Yukon and looks very close to a factory product. I wanted to share the link if anyone is interested. This includes the new housings, parts and labor..basically plug and play.

These lenses have an optional honeycomb but you can get them without it. Color temp is 5K which for me would be the upper limit and likely much easier on the eyes than 6K.

What is the benefit of the honeycomb?

Pretty much for aesthetics. They can laser etch different things in the lens with no adverse effects. You can also leave it alone and keep it original.

I strongly recommend you avoid any lights that are blue / blue white. You will find that people are constantly flashing their high-beams at you if the lights look blue. Learn from my mistake.

I have had the Morimoto XB headlights in my 2010 Yukon for 2-3 years now - and they're great. My truck is silver - and I think they look fine. I can say I think the Morimoto's are probably the best headlights I've had in any vehicle I have owned. They're a definite upgrade over the OEM lights.

I've done retrofits on many of my rides but IMO Retrofitting stock Yukon housings just make the whole truck look a bit bugeyed and it doesnt look good. It sucks cuz none of the aftermarket headlights have good projectors either.
Yeah, they almost look like the sand people from Star Wars..lol. I'm either going to do my own retrofit, or go with the HID Retrofit but I want to try on a pair of spare housings first before I commit $1K.

Again, I would already have the Morimoto XB if the guts were silver and not black.

I also think they look good on lighter colored vehicles, not a huge deal breaker.....function over form. But for me, I'm after the stock, silver silverish insides.

Agreed...that's why I want to try stay at 5K max, 6K is at the limit regardless of what I would use and 4300-4500K is more ideal. Also comes down to beam pattern, projectors are more forgiving.

I wish the fad for super white and blue lights would go away so manufacturers would focus or on lumens on the ground and not just a popularity contest.

4000-4500K is much easier in terms of eye fatigue...also better light on the road.
