Im looking into going low with my 02 Yukon XL. I bought the Crown 3/4 keys/coil setup and got to brainstorming. I dont know alot about spring rates and such but looked up the moog replacements....

Moog offers the 81069 as a factory replacement. Specs are listed in a screenshot below. I looked up a set of QA1 springs 10-450 that seem like theyd provide a 7" drop. Am I wrong in assuming this?

It looks like the original height is 7” shorter but I don’t see the spring rate of the Moog. It seems that a shock compressing 12 inches is extreme but I haven’t tried this on an 800. @iamdub @Joseph Garcia may know.

Even if you did manage to get your Yukon sitting on that spring, it'd be really compressed and would ride as if you had a solid pipe instead of a spring. What little suspension travel you may have would quickly be stopped by the axle bottoming out.

Looks like 81071 is the correct spring. Havent found the spring weight on it yet. Maybe Tony will chime in with his experience.
