Well today I finally got something done.

The rear took me about 30 minutes......having a lift makes it easier. The front took me about 2 hours only because I had to cut the lower ball joints (still on 17" wheels) and cut/modify the ABS/wheels speed sensor bracket.

The alignment......LOL. We spent more time racking it up and getting the truck set up then the actual alignment........only the TOE needed to be adjusted.

How much did you lower it? I've got the 2" drop spindles for the front and the 3-4" springs for the rear. I was only going to go 3 in the rear

Sorry I have been AWOL gents....... about another week left here in Australia.

I have done some research on some new mods and locking installation time for the stuff I have on hand. Since I have some holiday hours to burn off in mid March I will get over to the shop and get dirty and make some more power.

I'll be ordering HPTuners soon, so I will have a HyperTech Max 2.0 up for grabs soon.

Yeah I was ready to install out of the box.

The only additional thing I bought was a back up camera and that was silly easy to install since the 2010 up are CAN/BUS protocols.

The HU is great.... damn good for the money to be quite honest.

I was plug and play and steering wheel control ready. Since 2010+ are CAN/BUS protocols, is makes installs alot easier.
- QUESTION: do you already have the stereo steering wheel controls on your steering wheel?

The only additional option I bought was the back up camera, otherwise is was a plug and play unit.

Well I wanted a leather steering wheel here's what I got. Old vs. New.

The Grant Leather wheel was cheaper and they give you $40 back for the old wheel as a core. I also replaced the spoke covers with some fresh OEM pieces

And for some reason my battery was leaking.......so I added a new AC Delco Professional 48 series battery. Custom cost is almost $240........my cost was $136.

This weekend will be the overdue DOT3 flush and since I'm in there......might as well upgrade all of the soft lines to Stainless.

I took the picture in a way so the part numbers are there for quick reference gents

Honestly I'm not sure. The rear kit came with 4 lines. Haven't had a chance to get under the truck yet. There are 2 lines for the rear calipers and 2 other intermediate lines. summit racing said this was the kit for my 2010......guess time will tell.

More to follow later. Cheers

I have a feeling that's a complete kit and one I didn't know existed. I spent a couple hours one night trying to look up the lengths and fitting sizes of all the OEM lines so I could have some custom made. Looking forward to updates!
