YessirSo forgive me if this has already been asked as I'm still learning alot about my Denali. And now im starting to do mods under the hood and I want to do mods that help my motor run as efficiently as possible since my 2006 denali XL is my daily driver for my detailing business as of right now. Would a catch can work on a 2006 denali 6.0?
No problem, I needed alot of help when I started my mods. This is a great forumExcellent thank you!
I just made my own using the following compressed air filter:

In about 1000 miles I collected a couple of ounces of oil (about 1.5" in the bottom of the home made catch can.
However, the plastic innards partially melted from the heat. I'll try to mount it farther away from the engine block. This is really too bad because this $40 in air filter seems to have done as good a job as the $100+ catch cans. I may just have to bite the bullet and get one if heat continues to be a problem.
Ive had a catch can on my 05 since 2009 it's worked out great, the intake ect were cleaner then the first time I changed a knock sensor. And today I just took it off the 05 to put it on the 2010 I got a couple days ago![]()
