i installed the pedders rear springs last night. couldnt be happier with how it looks. rides nice, but definitely firmer than stock. felt great going thru this loop by my house where to interstates meet, but potholes make me cringe. not a good pic, but check it out.

if potholes are that scary and youre not gonna lower it more you should rock some bigger tires when its time to swap those out.. what kit did you use the 2'' or the 3''?

Looks good, weird that in my Pedders kit it rode pretty much like stock over all types of roads, try some shock extenders to get rid of that harshness.

i have the belltech shock extenders. maybe it rides how the nonautoride tahoes ride??? its not a bad ride, but i miss floating over potholes.
when i start the car the compressor runs for about 5 sec. used to run for like 2. im gonna play with the sensors so its riding a little less on air, hopefully i dont end up with the cali lean

little update. guess i should have waited a few days b4 commenting on ride quality. rides almost exactly like stock now, guess i had to wait a little for them to settle.

hard to get a good angle in the garage freezing outside. but this shows the height is perfect. before the compressor kicks in it sits perfectly level when measured, compressor brings it up like 1/4 in, perfect imo. one pic is how it used to look

They mount to the bottom mount meant for the shocks, then bolt into that area. Afterwards you bolt the shock into the extenders, which gains you 2" of shock travel and ride quality.
You want the Belltech 6651 shock extenders if you order them in the future.

yeah i did it myself, but it was a PITA.would be 1000x's easier with a lift and air tools. i did it with a couple jackstands, factory jack, and a socket set. u need 18, 20, and 22mm sockets if i remember correctly. the shock extenders mount to where the shocks are now. the worst part of the install was getting by the parking brake cable for the new shock location.

2425 was the part number. my tahoe has 4wd, i think awd is just for the denal and esky. took a small road trip this weekend, 2hrs highway each way. i honestly think it rode the same as stock if not better.

nope, right now when the air is completely out of the shocks, like when parked for a few hours it sits level. u can play with the length of the sensor rods to control how much the air ride brings it up. min are set to raise the rear a little b/c when you're on the throttle the front end sits up some. my driver side is at the perfect height. passenger side im gonna bring down just a little. i havent felt like it though. have to jack it up and take the wheel off to do it.
