Escalade third mod- help?

So the lighting mod bug has bit me. After getting my retrofit, G4 tails and esky third I want more!

So who's doing the full third LED mod? I believe @Faites777 is not active anymore, that @Vegasf6 was unable to be contacted last time I tried.

Is anyone still doing this mod?

I actually just chatted with @Vegasf6 , he may be repairing a gmt800 esky third for me this weekend.

I went with the Putco 900217 unit, and purchased from the dealer a new Escalade 3rd brake light housing, I had it professionally painted and installed, and the total price was $650

Not sure. It might depend on the year. I know on my 2006 Denali was not direct plug and play. I had to switch the 2 wires in the harness around that went to my esky light to get my light to work plugged into my yukon denali third light setup on top of my hatch. Was a bit tricky but I got it to work. Not sure on the gmt900 platform of Its plug and play or not.

It was totally plug and pray for my 2013 Yukon Dinali

Plug and play. However mine wanted to be a bastard and not like the modded light. The BCM was tripping out on the added LEDs so I ran a jumper between the rear tail wire to third wire. No issues now.

Can run a dedicated relay to it which I plan to do later when I have more time.
