No. If stock links are in there the compressor would kick on to try to keep the rear up. Like I said light on dash won't go away. Those linkages won't do it.

GO to store
Get 10x 24 machine screw
Cut ton2.75 inches long
Replace oem rod in rear

Turn on truck and sign will still be on dash and air compressor will not function correctly. Im.just trying to help you resolve this issue asap.

By removing the front shocks the system will stay in fault

Called and spoke to belltech and we missed the shorter rods. So they are on their way.

They also confirmed that the kit was made with the intentions of the drop to keep the air ride system in tact.

The nitro shocks which they had suggested are also made for the 02 caddy as a factory replacement. Although i did not climb under the front, ive been assured that they plug in or attach or connect (whatever the proper term is) to the factory stuff, in order for the truck to see them as it did with the factory stuff.

just wanted to post this public for future learning experience for others.

Just seeing if you got light off dash? Also airlift 60742 ie needed if towing. It just helps take off pressure from the oem air shocks in rear.

No not correct. Belltech never made a shock to plug oem system into on any of their front shocks on autoride. It's a replacement shock but does not keep autoride working. You will need to Splice in resistors to get it to work right. Then autoride will work and no more lights on dash.

If your towing for sure get airlift 60742 helper bags. They are perfect and even improve ride quality when no load is on the truck. I did a how to thread few weeks ago of me installing them on a tahoe which shows it all

When they don't just give me a holler I have the resistors. Just did a 06 esky yesterday guy put in Gabriel shocks in front and autoride stopped working. Spliced in resistors and light turned off and his autoride works now

Your rear shocks are dead even valving inside that regulates shock pressure not working because front system is not hooked up. Your best bet is to get autoride system to work since shocks are on there.

The links they are sending won't fix anything

You can do it but the valving of the shocks is totally dead. It's a 10 minute fix Splice in connectors and autoride works and light is off and set to go.

I would make sure autoride works. Better handling and load control and no more light on dash.

Norcal, is this the spot on the front shocks where ur saying the system would plug in to the stock shocks so that it works right?

popo this is the front connector for the autoride. The module attached to it is the Arnott bypass resistor which I removed and replaced with 3.9 ohm 25 watt wirewound resistors soldered into the wires. The Arnotts kept failing. The connectors should have attached to the tops of your stock shocks. They're probably tied away somewhere now.

That sucks. Arnott sells replacement compressors with lifetime warranty. As far as the resistors, yes I got them off EBay. I'm glad I fixed my autoride. I can ride lowered and when I hook up my trailer it adds air and doesn't bottom out, still rides great.
