Ok... so ive been scouring this section regarding lowering my 2002 awd Escalade.

When i search for lowering kits on line im finding different things. Some of the sellers say that they only sell stuff to lower the rear but stiff for the front musy be custom made...

Others have kits that are lowering coil springs... but yet the caddy does not have coil springs.

Its getting more confusing the more i research.

I just want a simple lowering of my truck.

Its on aftermarket 22s with 325-40-22s and Ive already trimmed some of the inner fenderwell so there is NO rubbing.

What i want.

Lower the truck 3-4" all the way around.

I dont care if its level or a slight forward rake .

If i can keep the air leveling system in the rear functional, that would be great for when i trailer.

No need to adjust it... or go up and down...etc.

Just want a simple lowering kit that is cost effective (not cheap).

Can someone with first hand experience please just say "HERE IS WHAT YOU WANT TO GET." (Pics would also be greatly appreciated).

Its the same as my AWD Denali and the 4wd trucks. You want dropped spindles (or keys if your cheap) in the front and springs in the rear with shock relocators.

In rear is,easy can use this kit
http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=232

In front you can do spindles and keys and camber kit. Which is 460 shipped using djm keys and other parts belltech

I would do my custom 3/5-6 kit and pull rts fuse for autoride and your set. 3 inch arms, wuth belltech sp shocks rides a lot better than spindles ,and keys with oem shocks

That oughta do it.

Don't forget this part:

Rear free travel mod needed. You will need to cut off the bracket off the frame which in turn gives you 3 more inches of travel and much better ride

.how much will this lower the truck?

.will the ride quality be compromised?

.i do intend to tow long distance, once a year as well... will it compromise the caddys ability to do that safely?

.im confused about the air bags u suggest. Can i no longer use the ones that are from the factory?

Im not looking to be cheap, however i wouls like to go the more cost effective route

the a arms are adjutable 2-3 inches and ride nice. I designed my rear coils since i do so many of these trucsk and rides really well. Here is one customers truck from here with my kit
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=627600

you can go long distances and tow. My buddy here has a 2002 suburban with my custom kit and airlift helper bags and tows is 72 c10 big block truck to street races and car shows no issues.

If you want a cheaper route to go here is another kit
http://www.tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=86

i would do the rear bumpstops/endlinks option and also if you google tahoe free travel mod and click on pictures I do this to 90 percent of the trucks that go 3 inches or lowr in rear. MUCH better ride.

any other questions just ask

@popo8 do Tony(norcalss) 3/6 kit with helper bags. I've had it for 2yrs and it's great. I also tow my 12' trailer, party rental side business filled with tents, tables and chairs. Ride is great and is still daily drivable.
