would be nice if it had a drain back into the pan...has me thinking about a Y in the dipstick tube....

That’s a good idea, my older GTR had a catch can with a drain back into the oil pan. Doing it that way was a maintenance free setup

i would agree with the unburnt fuel, do a small degree...the condensation, i suggest that is from the oil cooling in the can, if it had a drain and continually circulated...i dont believe it would amount to what you think...no more than the engine cooling and condensating internally
