The starter is on that side, unhooking the battery is a good idea. I was able to get that side out without removing anything on that side. I rolled it towards the passenger firewall and then up. I did have the intake and plastic from up top removed and the driverside mount loose.

Thanks

Anyone know the trans mount partnumber?

If you're replacing both sides, don't bolt down one side before doing the other so you can leave the engine jacked up for more work space. I didn't remove the starter. I did have to disassemble the old mount and remove it in two pieces. The new mount went in after some creative twisting and turning, working through the fender well.

ACDelco transmission mount part numbers are:

4WD: 15840277
2WD: 15813693

It's cool, anyone else collect the magnets they send with the parts? I was told to remove them from my "wifes" refrigerator and there is a pretty good stack LOL.

We had a discussion regarding magnets a few months back on here.
The general consensus was that the only refrigerators they belong on are beer fridges. Otherwise they need to go on your toolbox of parts cabinet.

Did the install today, just drove up ramps, got the lower bolts from above and uppers from below, bottle jack and 2X4 and pulled it out towards the back and bottom. Other went in in reverse. Started all bolts and then let it down. Tightened all and done in 1.5 hours.

You have so much more room down there than me! Going to do the transmission and engine oil cooler lines at the same time. Where did you jack from with the 2x4?
