Get an easy out. They’re cheap and you’ll use it more than once.

That sucks. You may need to drill out the broken bolt, at least to the extent that it will break its seizure and come out. If necessary, you can buy a right angle drive attachment for your drill which may give you a better angle to access the broken bolt.

stripped and broken are 2 totally different things. and stripped threads or stripped head?

Call or look online to see who has a tig welder to weld or bond another bolt on to it.

I won’t climb in there anymore and can’t remember how much of the bolt area is susceptible to the momentary shot of tig heat.

FWIW it might be some work but if it's on the pedal assy, remove that so you have room to work on the broken part.
