I suggest saving up for 26" wheels on a 2/3 drop! :)
Haha I really do not know what to suggest outside a wheel or suspension swap.
Happy Birthday ahead of time too. :party33:
Better be smoking some major weed come tomorrow haha.

From the looks of it, you're 16 and probably rich. Get a friggin' system in that hoe.

your birthday happens to be my favorite holiday....if you dont wanna drop money on rims/suspension i say sound system or full led light swap interior/ exterior and HID's, you could do all that with maybe a little more money than now (excluding the sound system, i mean all the light stuff)

I really want one, but how much does it generally run to have the tools sent to us rather than an in-person tune?

its the same price as having an inperson tune done i believe but you have to give a deposit of 300 dollers or something like to have the cable sent to you. but once the cable is returned you obivoulsy get the 3 hundred back! but yea your 16 so obviously you should go with the tune. man if i only had my bb tuned yukon in high school aha

Haha, so wait, once I get the $300 back how much is the total?

I don't reallllyyyy want a killer system, mine barely does it for me but a new one may be on my list in the future. Right now I kinda like the BB tune idea as well as a new gauge face, something along those lines.

You can either have someone do it in person, I forgot the guy's name, or they can send you the cable used for it. It connects to your truck and reads the "personality" of your engine - you're supposed to drive it in different conditions to get the maximum reading. Then you send the cable to them, and they send you a newly programmed computer. This will apparently make changes to your engine and make things easier. Some people say it makes passing and accelerating a lot easier.

Someone could probably elaborate on this.

his name is justin and he looks like ben rothlisburger (minus the creepy mullet) and yea zach after you send the cable back you get your 300 back and it comes out to 275 i believe. something like that. he does in person tunes everywhere i dont think the guy is ever home man i mean if you look at the black bear tune section there i constantly in person meets everwhere. if you can get a in person tune do it, justin will ride around with you to get the baseline of your engine and then have you do a bunch of short runs and and wot runs. hell change the shiftpoints move the speed and rev limiters to where you want them. set your truck to run at best on whatever octane you prefer. (91 oct) and hell change the torque managment ( amoutn of torque running the xmsn during shifts) to whatever you want. if you want all 100% tq coming through everyshift then hell do it. not smart aha but hell do it. or like most people do if you want 100% to only come through in tow haul mode and say 70% to coe through during normal driving than hell do that too.

i dont mean to rant but yea you get the point its better for an in person tune. more in depth and customized to your driving. whereas you can get the same thing through the mail but itll take a while because its obviously not going to be perfect the first time so you gottawait for another ecm tcm to come and swap it out and its a hassle!
