I've done a lot of searching and cannot come up with a straight answer. Can the 25 watt 3.9 ohm resistors work on the 2007+ SUVs? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I'm surprised nobody has responded to this. I'll be getting the resistors in today and will post shortly on if this will work for the 07+.

Cool post your results. I just picked up another tahoe and will be lowering it soon and don't want to deal with the dash lights.

May want to sticky this:

25 Watt, 3.9 Ohm resistors work perfectly for bypassing Autoride on 2007+ SUV's. I chopped off the connector and soldered the resistor across the two wires, then heatshrunk. Doesnt matter what side attaches to what. No error messages.

Now you can put any shocks on without "Service Suspension" messages, and youre only out about $10.

You can purchase them here

Will these work for the rear as well?

You are the man, I will definately return Arnott their shocks.

Now comes the task of figuring out what shocks to get.

QA1s are awesome pieces, I just need a part number for front and backs.

Arnott shocks do come with resistors, but they will not sell them separately from the shocks, so in order to get their resistors, you have to buy their shocks.

Buying the resistors I posted costs less than $10, and you can add any shock you like. I added just regular gm factory shocks (non-air) which can be had very cheap and still give a great ride.

There really isn't much to say about it. A resistor has two sides (one wire coming out of each end). Solder or butt connect each of those wires to the two wires that are on the plugs for the air ride shocks (clip the connector off). Heat shrink and / or use electrical tape to cover the joints, then zip tie it out of the way.

It's extremely easy and you really can't mess it up.

One resistor per shock. Replace the rears - need two resistors. Replace all 4 - need four resistors. I purchased 8 just to have some spares, should the elements eat them up over time. Ive been running them for over 2 months now with no issues, and no "service suspension" messages. Cheapest fix ever.

I don't tow anything with mine so I don't feel the need. I'm also not lowered.. Yet. I just wanted to be able to install cheaper shocks than the autoride ones. Even the arnotts are a big chunk of change. I got a great deal on some factory shocks that were non air ride and put those on. Still rides the same as the autoride shocks.
