Anyway to fix the spring in a door handle?

I got a 05 yukon and only the driverside door handle is very ez to pull the rest have resistances and pull there selfs back in was wondering if theres a spring in the handle that i can replace

here is what mine are doing.

I would rather not replace the entire handle if all it needs is the spring. I don't want to deal with painting to match the rest of the car.

Ever figure this out? I have the same problem haven't pulled my handle to check it out

no i havnt. but i did read elsewhere that the hinge pin gets corroded and binds the spring that pulls the handle back cannot overpower the binding force in the hinge pin.

my hinge pin is rusty. i can see rust staining on the white paint so im guessing thats the problem.

anybody get a repair for this? corroded rusted hinge pin binding and overpowering the retaining force of the spring?

Just a thought...you could buy an aftermarket handle and cannibalize it or hit the junkyard. When i color matched my handles, I bought aftermarket handles and pulled them completely apart for paint and utilized the inner parts/springs from the OEM ones to put the new ones back together. @VikingTrad3r

Welcome. I should have just hit the junk yard first, but I got impatient and ordered them online.
