As I'm pulling my door panels off and on (replace the mirror, replace the arm rest, replace the window regulator...soon to be replacing the door handles and maybe even upgrading the speakers)

I've been using needle nose pliers to pinch the door handle cable. Of course it's a pain in the ass so I figured there must be a tool for the job...and there is but it seems to be discontinued.

I'm probably just going to 3D print something but before I do, I was hoping someone might have a line on something that would work.

I find it easier to use a small flat screwdriver.
Push one tab, angle a little while keeping tension on cable & depressed tab, then push other tab in.
