Had one in my Disco2.

In the tahoe I just use an old Android phone (s4) and the torque app synced to an ELM327. The screen is better and it refreshes data just as fast as the SG did.

Isn't it a pain to have to keep the phone plugged in or charged?

Nope. I have a 4 port USB hub inside of my dash. The phone is on a mount above it and is wired via usb to that hub with minimal wires showing.

http://torque-bhp.com/ lets you configure it how you want and use an android app automation app to set it so it powers up with when it senses DC voltage input (turning the key on) and then goes to "sleep" key off. Basically a UG with a way better display (customizable and higher resolution) and it has way more PIDs to access.
