2nd gear truck vibrates

Hi all,
i would appreciate all the help/suggestions. Sometimes, when my truck shifts from 1st to 2nd gear it vibrates. its not slipping it just shakes the vehicle. could it be the trans screen ? what should i look into ? should i get it fixed now or wait till it completely falls apart ? thanks in advance.

has the tranny ever been rebuilt, or had the pan dropped to see fluid?

i bought the truck about 6 months ago with 124 miles on it. now it has 140. should i get it flushed and see what happens ? it was never rebuilt.

IMO at the very least get it flushed. Go from there. Hopefully there isn't any irreversible damage.

or just have a tranny shop drop the pan and look in the bottom, most can read how a tranny is doing by the particles in the bottom of the tranny pan.

With the mileage on the truck already, if you're gonna have a shop open it up, might as well flush it while they're in there.

If you have 140k on it now it has never been flushed, the least you should do is change the pan and fluid. DO NOT FLUSH!

it could be the torque converter, had that problem with my old 99 tahoe

thanks for your input guys. I dont know whether its been flushed before or not. i'm going get the trans fluid changed tomorrow and will see if i see any metal particles in the old fluid/pan. will post the results shortly
