That air hammer should get it. [emoji6]Ok got the nut off but the bolt is seized in the bushing really bad.
I have an air hammer I'll try in the next day.
If that doesn't work I'm taking it to a shop. Cutting out grade 8 bolts doesn't sound fun.

X2--I think it'll work that bisch right out! That air hammer should get it. [emoji6]
That would suck. He did try to hammer it out with no luck.memory maybe a little fuzzy, but i dont think those bolts unthread out. the bushing and the shell has a rectangular shape that the bolt goes thru. you just need to hammer the bolt out.
i would do some research before beating the shit out of it with a hammer but i thought thats how the older trucks were anyway

I hear that!I did my best. Now isn't the time to buy torch and use my truck to learn on.
I'd rather spend my time and frustration elsewhere.
Do ett!!!Sleeping on it I'm not in a time crunch and maybe could use this as an excuse to buy more tools rather than pay labor hours.
Is this a dumb idea to get?(or something like it) I have a fire extinguisher and hose in the garage. lol

A sawzall with a good metal blade, like a Diablo, will make fairly quick work of those bolts.
Slide the blade between the bushing and the brackets on the frame.
These carbide tipped ones?

Those would probably do it... I've never used that particular one, I usually use the fine tooth blades, but the Diablo blades cut very well.
Good to know. Thanks for the ideas!
