My wife bought a 2007 Tahoe LS 11 years ago and after 180k, she still loves it like no other vehicle. I've been looking for replacements for a year and finally found a 1 owner 2007 Suburban LTZ with 58k miles. Clean Carfax and AutoCheck reports and had all the records. I lucked out with this deal from a private party.

As we walked out of a store yesterday, my wife said "Isn't it funny how excited we are for vehicle the same age as our Tahoe?" The truth is, it feels just like the Tahoe that we love but with all the upgrades we never had...heated leather seats, 4WD w/ 2-speed transfer case, towing package, 20" wheels, autofold mirrors, automatic hatch, backup sensors, rain-sensing wipers, DVD, rear audio, fog lights, tow hooks. The main bonus was going from 180k to 58k miles. Hopefully this lasts us through our kids high school years and beyond.

Hey all. New to the group. I found a pretty good deal for an 07 Tahoe 1 owner with 89k miles. I’m looking to get this vehicle, but wanted to see how people like their 07 Tahoes 12 years later. I love the 3rd gen Tahoes and happy to finally get one myself. Thanks!
I am the second owner, over 165k on it now. Really holding up well.

I have a 2008 Yukon Denali in great shape that I have had since 2010.
I tend to rent vehicles for long trips to keep the mileage down on my personal cars. I ha e rented 2017 and 2018 Suburbans.
Although they were great vehicles, I didn't see enough different about them other than perhaps electronics to want to upgrade from my 08 Denali. I am very happy with my 08 and intend to keep it for a good while longer.
You will be very happy.

More pictures will be posted but looks like Tahoe’s don’t like Kansas weather. Within 24 hrs, my front dashboard has a nice 12” crack right by the steering wheel. I was hoping I was going to be lucky and avoid that common issue, but I wasn’t!

I like my burb, it's a 2007 so I can reply here right?! I have a wish list....I'd prefer a 4.10 rear, and a 6 spd trans.....just to increase the capacity of it. As it sits though, it starts, drives, all without issue...so we'll see how she continues in.

I love my 07, I have the LTZ trim and mine didn’t come with nav so I had a pioneer touch screen with apple CarPlay installed so I can use Waze and maps and listen to my Spotify playlists. Enjoy the new to you Tahoe!

There's something to be said about buying something that you're already familiar with. Might not have all the latest bells and whistles. But knowing what to expect in the future and how to fix it is relaxing in some ways.

I don’t think any climate, locale, condition, garaged or not, pampering, etc, will prevent the inevitable dash cracks. You can replace and do some things to hopefully ward off trouble on the new dash, but I’m not sure any factory dash will survive intact. I’m sure someone will be along to prove me wrong, but I also think their time will come.

2008 with only a single crack 3" long bet it cracked when they put the anti theft device behind the dash since it looks fresh

it's 600$ for a new dash not worth it I'll just use JB weld for plastic

Still loving our '08 with 89k Have done brakes twice, front struts (due to winter road treatment), and two ball joints. Nothing considered out of the ordinary for the Tahoe. Body metal is good and thick compared to some new vehicles. With the back seat out we have an old time sedan delivery. Doesn't use any oil at all. It just jeeps chugging.
