Hope you get it broken loose man. I hate when things don't go as planned. Sometimes, its best to take a break for a bit and then bam, it works good.

That big boy milwaukee should do the trick...if not, put some more d*ck into it. You'll get er

If the Milwaukee doesn't do it then it's the first time it has been unsuccessful. I think she needs more juice and it will do it, I did spray it with creep oil so it should help.

The milwaukee would not break the manifold to y-pipe bolts loose on my avalanche. Had to get my buddy Casey over there on a 3' breaker bar to get them loose. I put everything I had on it. Took his big ass to get it done tho. It was on an extension though

I used the handle for my jack on the end of my 3’ Gear Wrench monster ratchet and put the truck in gear. I was running out of umpf and I’m 6’4” 215#. Worst case scenario I go rent a 1” two handed corded impact from some construction site.
Wow.

That mfr is on there

The new Comp Cams spring compressor came in as did the Elite timing set, can't wait to get back cracking at this thing.

New spring tool worked like a charm except I bent 2 rocker bolts so I need to find new ones. I also got the crank bolt right off after yanking the fans and getting the impact on without a wobble joint.

Didn’t make much more progress other than cleaning up gasket surfaces and getting the timing set and oil pump on. I tried to remove and reuse the old valve seals but they were being stubborn so I just ordered new ones.

Are you using Vitron seals?

Been sick all week so I haven't made any progress but I did get my blackstone report from when I pulled the motor apart.

You don’t have Covid I hope?

Any ideas why the engine is wearing so much?
Ragged ole POS is the only thing I can think of.

Not covid but I already had it and was lucky to have very mild symptoms. I think I had the actual Flu (Yes it still exisits) I had body aches a mild temp and a throbbing headache.
