Ok, pretty puzzled! My hoe has started a little jerking to the left. I have 33" dynapro mt's and they are pretty low. I noticed it really when it was wet out and thought it was a little hydroplane cause of the tires. Now that It has done it a few times in the rain, I am now sensitive to it but have noticed it when it's perfectly dry. It's just not as noticeable. As low as my tires are my hoe doesn't hydroplane on dry blacktop. Any ideas?

I have never experienced anything like that, but if I had to guess, Id say maybe a bad caliper??

Also have you checked all the suspension/steering components like balljoints, pitman arm etc?

I dont know how to check to see if a caliper is failing intermittently...again that was just a random guess.

As for balljoints, jack the wheels up and wiggle back and forth pushing on 12 oclock and 6 oclock. Im sure there are other ways to check, but this is how I have always been told.

Pitman arm...google it, I havent a clue haha. BUT if it is bad, and the tires are following the dips in a road, that could cause the wheel to jerk similar to how it does wne you hit a puddle of standing water on the side of the road.

You dont have a steering stabilizer of anykind do you? I had to put one on my jeep because it would yank the jeep to the side when I hit a spot in the road. I only had a 4.5" lift and 32" tires.

Not ball joints, not pitman arm or steering stabilizer.

Wouldn't a caliper cause jerking while braking not while driving?

The caliper issue was kinda a farfetched guess. I thought, what would make it randomly yank, only thing that came to mind was brakes. And I know that GM has had lots of issues over the years with calipers that seize up....so although its very unlikely that it is the issue, I figured it could be a possibility, but the more you question it, the more I feel it wouldnt be the problem.

Have you noticed anywhere that it jerks specificially? Meaning on a certain road or location? If it happens, maybe try to drive back over the same spot and see if its the road itself tht is causing the issue.

I tried to google the issue for you, I didnt see much of anything related.
