check the actual harness and pins. if they dont make a good connection the arc and corrode over time. it can be as simple to fix as cleaning them off and bending the pins in the harness a little to make better contact
our trucks dont have heat in the rear only a/c...as for no heat up front again it could be a selector switch. check if the pins are melted or not making contact....glad you fixed it and that I could help.
in some states you cannot use universal cats. in va we cant. ive already tried. the shop wanted 900 for the oem cats and told me it was illegal to cut and weld new ones on...found magnaflows direct replacement on ebay and did it myself for 300.

Dude!!!! I'm telling you its the the fan control switch. Replace the whole thing. You can get them off Ebay for 100 bucks. When you have it out check that there are no charred connections if there is then clean the off and re-adjust the pins.

You said it was on a lift when it was really hard to rotate the wheel. I'm assuming the suspension was at full travel with the wheels hanging. That would cause half shafts to bind.
you have to remove the key lock cylinder. its pretty much a ***** to get off. the steering wheel doesnt affect getting that off. i ended up breaking off my upper cover (cause i got so pissed) and just bought a new one. with the cover off its cake replacing everything. it seems a little over...
