According to the paint channels on YT, you are not supposed to use the blue masking tape because the solvents in auto paint breakdown that tape.

I didn't know this until recently. I'm pretty sure I've used the blue tape (and probably the cream colored version too, lol) in the past...oops.

There's a saying in Spanish that says, "el qué no sabe es cómo el qué no ve." Literally translates to "he who doesn't know is like he who is blind."

Then there's another saying that translates to "nobody is born knowing [as in knowledge]"

We all have to start sonewhere, is kinda my thing...get her done!

Then there's the "other guys" on the spectrum, spending countless hours (months or YEARS!) themselves or dropping $30k on some classic vehicle, that's honestly a POS rustbucket to most everyone else...

Wow, so green tape is OK? (lightly applied)

I guess in my case it doesn't matter because I'm not using the tape to paint a nice line, just to hold masking paper..

I spend too much on cars that aren't really worth anything.. Once they're mine... I do what I want with them.. Which is too much time & money, yet still not doing anything worthwhile. Special talent of mine!
