silver is magnetic as well (they used silver wound electrical motors back in the day WW2 i think it was)
Silver is not magnetic just like copper is not magnetic. If you pass current through silver wire, it will generate a magnetic field, just like copper wire. As current flows through a wire, it generates a circular magnetic field around the wire.
