GM should bring the pewter color back...

I hate GM’s shade issues. I have a Silver Birch bed with a Pewter cab lol. Can’t tell when its all dirty but when it’s clean and the sun is shining it’s ridiculous. I can’t decide if I’m going to paint the cab SB or paint the bed Pewter.

My Escalade is 20 years old and it still has great paint. Even the roof between the roof rails still looks new. It's the color it was when I got it. I doubt I'd order it that color. I'm more partial to bright solid colors like red or blue. White and silver tend to disappear in the rain here in Indiana.

Gross. I bought my 06 z71 (new) in that putrid gold color as it was a dealer leftover in 07, so cheap, and i figured itd hide dirt well (i bought it just to tow the boat to our cabin). Weve since left the boat at the cabin, the truck has sat as i had no use for it, and now im considering having it painted blue. Its an awful color only suitable for work trucks, imo. That said, if ya like it, rock on, theres plenty of em out there for you!

Oooh blue. Gross. Awful color. God I hate blue trucks almost as much as red. But hey if you like it, go for it. Waste of money to paint a truck blue imo. There’s a reason you don’t see many blue trucks, it’s because they’re all putrid. Yech.
