Oh it’s been a bit of a PITA. I’ve got an aftermarket head unit, and remote start. So we figured out those both have to be 100% disconnected, so I have to pull fuses in the dash every time I do anything w/ the AutoCal.
After I was finally able to provide a data log, he sent a tune back right away, but with additional information that my MAF was pretty well toast. So I’m sitting waiting for it to arrive tomorrow.

On that note, I need a good plan for the replacement. I was planning to clear any faults with the Tech2 after replacement, and then hopefully start right up, but I know enough to expect it won’t go so easy like that. [emoji6]

Maybe it's you and Mark tying them up. :p

I have an aftermarket HU as well so I'll keep that in mind when I get involved with it. Thanks for mentioning that.

I don't see the new MAF and clearing the codes causing any problems unless the new tune needs completed drive cycles/readiness monitors.

Yeah I’m still waiting on my tune for the cam. Roger Vinci said I can start it up and do the initial run- in but it will run raggedy and throw codes until the tune is loaded. I sent in my request last Friday so I’m hoping to hear back soon. @BlackBearPerf are you listening? I sent them a PM too.

Well, I need to slow down a bit.

While I was cleaning the wheels up a bit I noticed one wheel is of a lower quality that the other three. I am not satisfied with this. I noted the following differences from the other three wheels.

  • The spoke edges are markedly sharper due to a lack of finish radius.
  • The spokes are noticeably thinner that the other three.
  • The face edge radius is noticeably smaller.
  • The masking between the spokes for the grey paint was sloppy.
  • The finish of the grey paint on the back of the wheel is rougher and the machining marks are noticeable.

I reached out to the guys I bought them from and they are working with me on it so that's a good surprise. They said we could go through as many wheels in their inventory as need to find one that matches the others. Just need to coordinate a dismount and get there.

Here are some pics

Damn, too bad you didn't notice that before you got the tires mounted
