Ready to pull trigger on Derale trans cooler - need advice
I went with replacement lines so I wouldn't have to mess with hose clamps. Also figured the original hoses have some mileage on them. Straightforward job, probably need to put the truck on stands to get space to snake the lines through there, but otherwise super easy and fairly cheap.. Lines...- mikez71

Had a new autozone alternator fail on me decades! ago. About a week in, one of the brushes had fallen out of place. Nice! There are newer diagrams on that site as well, but I find a lot of the newer ones just show plugs and pinouts. Went through the list and saved all the ones I think I'd need in a folder, never know how much longer they'll keep it up... -

I think they were very similar if not the same, but you might as well use the '07 wiring diagrams one. it's page 124 -

Those instructions make logical sense to me, though the factory dual battery setups I have seen in the PPV/SSV section are not wire as such. The second battery ground goes straight to alternator bracket. I suspect GM didn't put too much thought/care into it. Regarding the RVC sensor, I don't...- mikez71

I did not. Have seen some knock retard in the past, upto maybe 5 degrees. Just found a log where it was 0.6 degrees pulled.. 40% throttle, 2400 rpms in 1st, 35kpa.. not really in the change portion. Engine Noise
I once had the starter gear come out of the starter on a toyota sequoia. Clanged around the bellhousing on the drive home real good.. Didn't destroy anything else surprisingly.- mikez71

Removed my audio splitter that routes rear radio outputs to front amp inputs. I made it to get rid of annoying chimes... key in, door open. HOWEVER, my son hit the Rear Seat Audio button. That mutes the rear output from the amp, but it also turns the radio rear output to 100%. (going to...- mikez71

Gotta do my sway bushings too, I hope that's what squeaks when cold. Already got some Moogs with fabric lining somewhere... Rear main next week, Whoa!!..
