Ready to pull trigger on Derale trans cooler - need advice

I went with replacement lines so I wouldn't have to mess with hose clamps. Also figured the original hoses have some mileage on them. Straightforward job, probably need to put the truck on stands to get space to snake the lines through there, but otherwise super easy and fairly cheap.. Lines...

    Accessory Drive Belt Maintenance?

Which Moog arms did you have? The greasable or non-greasable? I'm curious because I installed some Moog arms lately.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Had a new autozone alternator fail on me decades! ago. About a week in, one of the brushes had fallen out of place. Wouldn't have been a big deal, except it happened at 2am in the morning 100 miles from home. Pulled over when the lights started getting real dim. Was sleeping in the car to...

    2011 Tahoe "Grounding Points"

Nice! There are newer diagrams on that site as well, but I find a lot of the newer ones just show plugs and pinouts. Went through the list and saved all the ones I think I'd need in a folder, never know how much longer they'll keep it up...

    2011 Tahoe "Grounding Points"

I think they were very similar if not the same, but you might as well use the '07 wiring diagrams one. it's page 124

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Those instructions make logical sense to me, though the factory dual battery setups I have seen in the PPV/SSV section are not wire as such. The second battery ground goes straight to alternator bracket. I suspect GM didn't put too much thought/care into it. Regarding the RVC sensor, I don't...

Nope! Just saw some changes in tune, figure it's usually an update or tweak. :P

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I did not. Have seen some knock retard in the past, upto maybe 5 degrees. Just found a log where it was 0.6 degrees pulled.. 40% throttle, 2400 rpms in 1st, 35kpa.. not really in the change portion. (.6 was probably interpolated from neighboring cells) Maybe when the weather warms up. These are...

    Engine Noise

I once had the starter gear come out of the starter on a toyota sequoia. Clanged around the bellhousing on the drive home real good.. Didn't destroy anything else surprisingly.

Maintenance items for the win and the joys of rust free work!

Yea I was being way optimistic saying 1 year. 3 years sounds about right!

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Removed my audio splitter that routes rear radio outputs to front amp inputs. I made it to get rid of annoying chimes... key in, door open. HOWEVER, my son hit the Rear Seat Audio button. That mutes the rear output from the amp, but it also turns the radio rear output to 100%. (going to...

Maintenance items for the win and the joys of rust free work!

Gotta do my sway bushings too, I hope that's what squeaks when cold. Already got some Moogs with fabric lining somewhere... Rear main next week, Whoa!!.. Would take me a year or more to work up the courage.. even then I might not do it.. Which reminds me, I have a leak! Thought I fixed it...

Converted CJ2 automatic climate to CJ3 manual controls

Could not find these in '08 diagrams. Looks like I am missing an evap temp sensor... Kinda doubtfulit has anything to do with rear actuators not fully working... J3-14 WH EVAP TEMP SIGNAL (actually might have this already, same as CJ2 auto version) J3-19 TN LO REF - This wire did not...
