I think it looks great. The denali lower grill is gonna be awesome. Have you thought about tinting the side of your lights in the front where the amber reflector is? A lot of blacked out rides have done it on here and it looks sick.

I like it. How'd you do it?

Thanks. It took some time and patience. Instead of separating the grille(s)-I just masked off the center portion. Then wiped down the whole assembly with rubbing alcohol. I ended up using 2 cans of Krylon Fusion(in gloss black) spray paint. The key is to do light coats. At first it looks like it won't even adhere to the chrome but it does. It has been hot here so drying time in between coats was next to nothing. 2 cans will cover it nicely-maybe a third if you really want to lay it on thick. The only drawback is that it does chip easily so be careful when re-installing the grille assembly. I am gonna play with some 2000 grit sandpaper this morning to try to take some of the 'roughness' out from 'rattle can' paint. Overall I am pleased. For $12(2 cans of paint) and a few hours---quite a change ;)

Very nice, looks excellent!:pimp:

Thanks bud.

Thanks!!!

No problem.

looks way better then stock.

I agree. Gives it a more aggressive look

Thanks..the only drawback to doing it yourself is that it chips or when it does-you see the chrome. But for 12 bux, I'll deal with it for now. Down the road I will have a bodyshop sandblast it and paint it.

Looks good man, i have the depo's with the blacked out bumper lights, i think it completes the look of the front end, kept the amber on the projector to keep it legal. Still need to get the lower denali grill. Here is a pick of mine

****update****

Sad to say but this adventure was an EPIC FAIL....I have sprayed many other plastic things with the same paint and have had zero issues but this time....

Started to wash the truck after a trip up north and the paint started to flake off in chunks......the grille must be made of another type of plastic(i found this on denaligrill.com and says the grille is: Your Grille Shell is ABS plastic that is Vacuum Metalized, the vaporization of Aluminum that adheres to the plastic)

So needless to say a few hours later and lots of scaping.....back to chrome.

I'll put my pennies away and have it professionally done down the road.

Learn from my mistakes....
