Today's adventures included a bust while searching for a front right door but left front is on. I pressure washed the patio and we are setting up the pool. They shut the beaches down here. So we are bringing our beach to us. Definitely needed a new door and most definitely that striker. Holy crap!

Already got it and installed. I had bought one at RA but it was wrong. Quick online order to Advance and we are in business. The search was for a decent front right door. Well aware that strikers are in the Dorman section.

Replaced my strikers recently on my 94 rcsb. Makes a noticable difference. Between that and the dynamat knockoff stuff on the door skins I get a nice solid thunk when I shut the doors now instead of a tinny rattling sound.

I love your 2 door! Following along.

Do those strikers screw into the frame or is there a captive nut in there? Been hesitant to replace mine

Well Tim is still cruising along on the FrankenBetty. The new fenders are back on. The right side isn't quite lined up but the inner fender well hasn't dried from it's paint job. Once that goes on, I think the hood goes back on. And then the stereo gets finished. I think JJ (my son) is going to pull the rest of my trim and paint it, especially the center console. I'm lucky enough to work from home right now, hope everyone is hanging in there. Oh and I got my birthday present from my son. I told him it will stay on from Jan-Sept but after that the Gator tag has to go back on

Well today the boys let me do a little work on Ol FrankenBetty. The passenger side door panel didn't want to seat right so I got that done. The guys got my hood on and adjusted and then I put my new front license plate on. Here's a pic of the kid's license plate on his 85 C10. We're a little backwards. Mine belongs on his and vice versa. But pretty bad ass. Oh and I'm getting to prime my grill, then Jeremy is gonna hit her with some gloss black and the clear in the am. So freaking happy!!!
