Good! Screw those wheels. I didn't like them anyway.

lmao.. i dont either, just could of got them really cheap had brand new tires on them.

Check out treadepot.com.

I have the cooper discoverer H/T plus that`s on the top of this list in a 275/55/20

http://www.treadepot.com/tirelist.html?quickfind=2754520

It`s one of the best all around tires i`ve ever had. Great ride and they`re quiet, I have about 10k on them and they look like the day i mounted them. They also balanced very easily. I mount and balance my own tires and always use weights on the inside of the wheel only because i hate the look of them on the outside and it scratches the wheels too and with crappy tires that doesn`t always work.

You can`t beat this tire for the price.

Thanks, i'll look into those also. And that site also. Appreciate the info.

speaking of that, ive been really thinking about getting some rims since im about to spend at least 400 bucks for tires. I have really wanted the GM 22" CK375. I think they are the new denali rims. But they are gm acces. rims.
these.

Havent seen them on a NBS, but a friend of mine just got them on his denali truck and look really good in person. I think it might look pretty cool on mine being lowered and all. Might look wierd also. idk..

Why? Your truck already looks like: "*****, I wish you would try to pull up next to me!"

You think so, even on mine. Im might call up a buddy that does factory rims and see what he says.
Yeah, NBS-New body style i know in tahoes its 01-06/ yukon same. NNBS is the 07 up ones.

Yes, felix's truck already looks good to me also. I actually had some of those kmc slides 24's, but the tires were shot, never put them on though.. sold them instead.

Heres the only truck like mine w/ those rims.

I like the look of boss' better. I would only get the factory 22's if you can get a super deal on them. Otherwise, just get the cheaoest (QUALITY) wheel that you like.

yeah i kind of like the boss's more also. Just something about them. For the GM 22's, i doubt theres any way i can get a deal since i havent seen to many of them. Friend got his for 2k w/ tires. Thats more than i want to spend on rims right now.

I wouldn't spend 2K on stock rims.

yeah thats what had me thinking nevermind after he told me his hook up price. Which i dont think is much of one. I see them for that online.

Idk, its either find some rims, or get some tires soon. Probly tires.

What do you have on there now? 20s? Why not buy 2 brand new 22s with 2 new tires or find a set of 22s that someone is selling because one is bent/broken, and put them on the back of the truck and just get tires for the front?

yeah 20 ss rims. Never been a fan of the smaller up fronts and bigger rear. On hot rods yeah, just not my big ole tahoe.

What I'm saying is that you could buy 2 at a time. That way you don't have to come out of pocket for the entire (new) set all at once. You could do 2 & 2.

If the new wheel and tire combo have the same overall rolling diameter as the 20s, you could run 2 on one side and 2 on the other and have 2 sets of rims on the truck. (untill you get all 4 of course)

Oh alright. Thought you were saying bigger and smaller. That's an idea though. You only see one side at a time anyway. Lol I've been looking around for both. Spending a little more and getting some new rims and tires don't sound bad to me. That's why I'm stuck on choosing which.

You shouldn't have to choose. You can have both, and save money (kind of). Buy 2 new rims and tires. That way you have both: new tires, and new wheels (even if it is only 2 for now). When you get your money right again, buy the other 2. That's what I'm thinkin'.

Guess that link was a timed thing. idk.. We just had monster jam a couple weeks ago here. lol. Now we have the motorcross this weekend.

Here are some things i just copied from there.

Hankook Ventus ST RH06
275/45R-20 109V XL B
Warranty 50,000 Miles
Treadwear 420
Traction A
Temperature A
Speed Rating V
Designed specifically for the high performance, luxury SUV market. Controlled footprint shape ensures maximum contact. Remarkable performance and road handling in all weather conditions. Outstanding performance, minimal treadwear, long tread life and a quiet, comfortable ride.

I dont know what any of this means, except the speed rating. Well of course the warranty also. I might try and see if he can get these or those nankang's.

I ran these on my '03 Tahoe LS with 50 series on 22" U2-55's and they performed great in the rain and would hug corners. As for tread wear I didn't have them long due to selling the Tahoe but they look like they last a good while. A buddy has these on his ram 1500 and have about 40k on them and still look new :)

I ran Sunny Tires for a while and they seemed to wear quickly and didn't do well in the rain under moderate to heavy acceleration

Thanks for the input, kind of what im looking for right now. See how likes what. Im thinking im keeping the 20's and just looking for tires now. Drove a magna charged denali truck w/ the 6.0 of course, and now i want a S.C.

Also, ive been looking at other peoples tires and i see alot of folks w/ kuhmos. From 20's up. probly some smaller ones also, just not looking at them. Thats what im looking for, good tread wear good in rain and all around.

Chip--- Yeah that is true. Ive got the money, but need to pay for other things i forgot about. Before i go and spend money on things i dont need to. Think im going to just buy some tires. Need to call up some your friend about the nankang ones (are those china ones) probly said earlier in thread. Just havent had time to call anyone and find out yet.

Yeah, you might as well wait untill you're 100% on your decision. Here's Nankangs info: http://www.nankang.com.tw/home.php?fn=eng/about

Unfortunately, I found out that I lost my tire guy today. I need a tire myself, but when I called, he was out, new guy was in, prices went up. I'm back to ebay.

This is the tire I'm running now: http://www.nankang.com.tw/home.php?fn=eng/product_1&no=9&pno=27

Yeah i am. Front tires are pretty bad and turning isnt good at all. but normal driving its fine. So i figure i might have a little while to go. I'll probly just keep the 20's. Most like em on it, so i'll just wait until i find something that catches my eye or a good deal.

Thanks for the info on the Nankang's.

(I think this thread should be re-titled Chips' & Tahoewhat's Tire info) lmao.. :Handshake:
