Thought this might be a good idea with so many asking about drops...if it doesn't catch on it'll just fade away...if it works maybe sticky it?

This idea is to get a collection of information from everyone on their respective setups with pictures so anyone looking for pics/results/ideas/etc can easily see what has been done & is possible. Edit & update your post as you see fit & as you make changes.

Here's my setup & a possible template to work off of...

Model/Year/2x/4x/AWD:
- 2003 Tahoe LT 4x4

Advertised drop:
- 3"/5.5"

Fender height front/rear:
-31.75/32.25

Front:
- LCA's : DJM 3"
- UCA's : stock
- Spindles : stock
- Sway Bar : BellTech
- Tie Rods : Custom 1" DOM w/ 3/4" chromoly teflon lined heims
- T-bars : stock
- T-bar keys : stock
- Shocks : DJM
- Steering : KYB stabilizer

Rear:
- UTA : C3Fab adjustables
- LTA : C3Fab adjustables w/ DJM relocator kit
- Springs : DJM 4" Trailblazer
- Panhard : Spohn adjustable
- Sway Bar : BellTech w/ DJM end links
- Shocks : BellTech
- Air Assist : None

Wheels & Tires:
- Wheels : 22" Boss 330's
- Tires : Nitto 275/40/22's

Considered upgrades:
- DJM uppers to ease UCA balljoint angles. Noticed occasionaly popping from stock upper joint. Otherwise, nothing.

Brief impressions of setup:
Overall, the ride is firm but not stiff. The suspension has a progressive rate feel to it. Normal driving it's really
tame but it takes corners incredibly with little to no body roll & my confidence is gone long before any talking from
the tires.

Considered upgrades:
- Stock Keys decranked or DJM Arms because they're the only thing I haven't tried on this vehicle.

Brief impressions of setup:
Trucks drives nice but is a bit stiff, comes with the territory being this low. The truck handles amazing for such a heavy vehicle. I have no issue pushing it hard through tight mountain roads faster than sense would dictate. I'd contribute much of the handling to the lower center of gravity, quality tires, and most notably the gigantic Eibach sway bars. The spohn panhard was an excellent upgrade and I'm considering some adjustable rear arms to center the wheel. Pinion angle for the rear axle is money though.

I was about to start just this thread, good thing it was sticky'd! I'd like to see more full length vehicles, XLs or Suburbans. I think the full lengths look really slick down low. I want to drop mine but I'm not sure what it will look like with the stock 17" rims (05 Burb Z71)... Can anyone please post pics of a stock-rimmed dropped XL or burb? Don't make me go with photoshop... I'm terrible at photoshop!

Are those 17" rims? Looks like more than 2/4 based on the other pics in this thread, and btw it looks great! Probably just the drop I am looking for! Probably helps that it's a denali, I love the side trim/lack of flares on those compared to the Z71.

you should probably start a new thread for that question, this one is for pics of various drops.
