*4 YEAR UPDATE
they still work perfectly fine, they did need to be restored. the upper 1/2 was looking semi yellowish hard to tell exactly because the lens has a slight tint
had no idea up until a couple days ago that walmart does headlight restoration for $26. less work or me lol

5 YEAR UPDATE, the walmart housing restore lasted just under a year and I decided to warranty them this time versus having the housing refinished again, Morimoto shipped the replacements pretty quickly I think it took maybe 3 days. they arrived today, I will unbox and see if they made any changes or updates compared to 5 years ago. probably will be tomorrow have some work to finish up today
other than the housing fading they have worked perfectly.

Take them to a body shop and have them clear coat them and they should last. PPF is another method that works well and also provides protection against rock chips, but these headlights are pretty curved where they meet the fenders and it’s hard to PPF that spot, so it could come up a tad short. PPF has kept the headlights on my SS looking brand new after 8.5 years and most of them I see look terrible now.

the replacements should make it a while before they need to be addressed again, these had a 5 year warranty so figured I would take advantage of it before it expired.

mine had the crazing I think they call it where the plastic had like internal cracking. the c6 corvette oem headlights are known for it, and no level of restoration can fix it. so when I got my warranty replacements, I did the pro coating to them new out of the box, and the floor mat people, weather tech have a listing for a pre cut diy ppf for yukons. so I installed that, eazy install it these aren't exactly the same shape lens as the oem, so they don't fit perfectly. having a shop so it would be better.

but you can't see it 5 ft away so I'm good with it and I would be well past the warranty for a 2nd set of replacements. so I did all that seemed reasonable. I wanna say they are a year or maybe 2 by now and look brand new still, even baking in the tx sun.

I do not see any inherent design changes externally anyway, the black plastic seems softer but that could be because their new produced 8/2025

installed and working as expected, went behind the shopping center down the road and adjusted them, went for a little drive no issue's.
I did the advance replacement so other than a hold on a credit card until the old lights are received back, it was all free morimoto covered shipping both ways.

That's great stuff. A little expensive, but it does a lot of cars, and it'll last for years.
Make sure you seal those bottles really good when stored.
