Finally got mine installed today. Had to make a bracket to get it up higher so the drain valve could be used. Not much to mention as it's a pretty straight forward install.

It can't hurt. You can use it as a diagnostic tool. I've had one on for 7.5 yrs. Only collects about 2 oz/5k miles. Healthy engine with 209k miles
