The only thing to add from my side is to consider commercial quality networking gear. I got so sick of replacing access points and routers every few years, and then having blind spots in the house where coverage was poor. I switched over to Ubiquiti Unifi hardware (including their cloud gateway) in 2020 and haven't looked back. Our house is 3700 sq. ft. on 2 floors, and someone was always complaining about the Wi-Fi until then. Then it was Comcast that sucked and kept dropping out through most days - usually when we're on a call. But the Unifi Cloud Gateway (router) features automatic failover to another provider (in my case, T-Mobile), so we never drop video calls for work anymore. Game changer - all of it.
