They've got very good reviews and IMO may be worth considering so thought I'd throw them out there to you as you consider options
My concern is being around for years down the road. Bendpak has been around for decades. Tons of lift options out there, many of which won't be around in 5 years.

I would do the 4 post with 2 center jacks before anything else. That's just me.

2 post is more versatile
I’m fairly certain money bags is getting both based off the garage layout. I see 2 spots for a lift.
Def not set in stone. That's my plan, but money will be a factor. That 4 post will be the first cut if budget doesn't hold out. That's an easy add on down the road. I'm going to pour the footers for it, but that doesn't mean it'll happen

The only thing to add from my side is to consider commercial quality networking gear. I got so sick of replacing access points and routers every few years, and then having blind spots in the house where coverage was poor. I switched over to Ubiquiti Unifi hardware (including their cloud gateway) in 2020 and haven't looked back. Our house is 3700 sq. ft. on 2 floors, and someone was always complaining about the Wi-Fi until then. Then it was Comcast that sucked and kept dropping out through most days - usually when we're on a call. But the Unifi Cloud Gateway (router) features automatic failover to another provider (in my case, T-Mobile), so we never drop video calls for work anymore. Game changer - all of it.

Um, yeah. Sure, thats exactly what I had in mind.....totally

But seriously, I have no clue what youre talking about lol. My router now is from spectrum and my wifi router is a netgear I think. Amazon, $75 special or something. Thats all I have for a "network"

It's worth looking into a bit, anyway. I think you'll find it's easy, and I'd be happy to walk you through it over the phone. All of the equipment configures itself and it all comes with step-by-step guides for getting started.

You'd need probably 2 of these:

And one of these:

The reviews tell the story.

Then, as your property grows with more buildings, its easy to add equipment to the system to get wi-fi over long distances without laying more cable:

It's rock-solid stuff. It never goes down and has enterprise-level security features.

Met with the builder to drop the plans off. House is still in the rough budget that we originally discussed. Obviously this is very rough estimates but wasn't far from the original. The garage, however, was not. His quick figure was $400k for that alone. Def way outside our original budget so he's going to get some other options together. Mainly doing a pole barn style that's finished inside instead of the stick framing. Also doing metal instead of matching the house. Not sure how 4 walls can cost more than some houses, but apparently he was way underselling this in the beginning...

Was not expecting to see 400k for the garage.

If he can’t put together a better price, I’d nix it and find someone to build your garage after the house is done.

You edited.

Yeah, I'm not paying that. Seems like a better deal considering the scope, if it's all done together. If that's not the case, he can work along side another crew. That's just unacceptable considering.

I'm starting to wonder if they're seeing the money spent so far is not benefiting me.

I threw a netgear r8500 up on the wall and it has been up there for at least 6-7 years and it covers a 3200sq ft 6 bedroom and then some.
Now there like $40 on ebay if it ever dies I will just buy another one.
it runs 6 tv's, 4 phones, 6 tablets, 3 computers, 3 alexa's, 3 camera's, voip phone, game consoles and anything else I connect to it without a hitch
it's the size of a hardback Britannica lol
