Maybe the spare was the problemPulled the spare last night to make room for investigation, no evident marks on that. Of course now that that weight is off the back it isn't doing it today.

Where was the spare? In the cabin or left at home.Pulled the spare last night to make room for investigation, no evident marks on that. Of course now that that weight is off the back it isn't doing it today.
Winched up in the rear end undercarriage.Where was the spare? In the cabin or left at home.
Did you install the offset endlinks for the rear sway bar and move the sway bar towards the passenger side?
I missed something about your weight removal then.Winched up in the rear end undercarriage.

If not, my guess is the sway bar is making contact with the panhard frame mount.
I usually keep the spare up under the rear frame. I took it off to make is easier to investigate what the schizzle is going on under there hahaI missed something about your weight removal then.

husky's, have had mine on for about 6-7 years now, zero issuesAnd, I need to find a really good set of mudflaps.
Are the OEM ones the only real game in town or are there aftermarket sets that are better without being too obtrusive?
husky's, have had mine on for about 6-7 years now, zero issues
the front's you can mount pretty easily by turning the wheels I also added a couple metal backed clips just for extra rigidity
the rear is a tight spot it can be done without taking the wheels off but I took my time and had the wheels off just made it 100x easier
the husky have extra mounting holes so I just drilled the plastic wheel shroud to utulize the extra mounts
they work great for keeping the mud from slinging up to the windows.
design flaw by gm, the gmt800's never had that issue
Yup the husky ones are nice, and this tool makes it a lot easier as well.

I have the Husky's also - I made my purchase on the recommendation of @Charlie207Looking at the pictures of your wheels and mudflaps, it reminded me that I have been wanting to paint the GMC logo red on the lug nut covers to match the body emblems.
I was thinking of using model paint but I wasn't sure how UV resistant it would be.
And, thanks for the suggestion of going with the Husky mudflaps.![]()
