Question about Code reader.

Hi guys. Got a question. I can no longer get info from my code reader. Thought my plug in might be bad, so I took the truck (06 Denali) to Oreilly's and it didn't work with theirs neither. So I'm wondering, is there a fuse to check for the code reader outlet..?

Does you cigarette lighter have power? I believe they are on the same fuse.
