Hey everyone just purchased a 2000 GMC Yukon Denali 4x4 W/89k mi, very clean but in need of a wheel and tire upgrade.

Just purchased a set of 18" GMC Yukon wheels and need advice on tire size, looking at a 275/65/18 all terrain tire - Falken Wildpeak A/T3W.

Anyone have experience/advice with 18" tires on that year I would appreciate your feedback/comments.
Thanks

I'm running 2015 Silverado wheels with 265/65-18s ATs with no issues on my '04. Can't imagine a 275 width would cause any problem.

I have a 2001 xL same suspension geometry- I ran 265 60 r18’s before my wheel spacers and suspension tinkering and they weren’t rubbing before the spacers (I lightly rub my ws washer reservoir at full lock) on basically 30.5’s 32’s wouldn’t be a issue unless you have mad suspension sag

I run 275/60/18’s on my 2001 and it’s perfect, in my opinion.

It’ll fit no problem. The only issue I’ve seen with the stock wheels is when you step up to a 12.50 in width it’ll rub the control arms without spacers

@Scotty Rock you in a gmt400 Yukon platform or a GMT800 platform Yukon? If so, your suspension geometry is different than all these guys commenting with GMT800 platform Yukons. What will fit on their rigs may or may not fit your vehicle. You need to look up the tire websites that calculate all the dimensions of a particular tire and then measure out the clearances on your specific vehicle to verify if the tire size you’re after will fit.

when I had my 2000 Escalade I upgraded the OEMs to 2007 Escalade wheels and tires (takeoffs) and they were 265/65/18s...

good luck with your choice
