Anybody running the Recon LED tail lights? How has your experience been with them? I've purchased aftermarket tail lights for other vehicles in the past, but never for $900. So I want to see how they perform long-term before I drop that kind of money.

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

Pics of the truck, please.

That is a lot of money, if it is just for the LEDs. Even the best GTR LEDs which I use, which are warranted for life, cost less than $400 for the entire set of rear LEDs, including the backup LEDs.

If it is for an entire pair of rear light housings containing LEDs, I would still say that is a lot of money.

I ended up purchasing them, not sure if I'm going to keep them tho. They're extremely well made and I love everything about them, but I am not feeling the smoked lens on the Dark Ash paint. I'll give it some time and see if they grow on me, but they may be for sale soon. I'll post pics later.

Interested in seeing pics for sure. Please post them when you can.

Those look nice. I'm looking at buying the same lights for my Tahoe. I was on the fence between the Anzo, Recon, or 2025 retrofit.
Looks like they are always having sales on their site (RECON) I'll pick up a pair soon.

Nice, I have the same for my 2024 Yukon. Just haven't installed the turn signal lamps, finding that to be difficult.

Do you mean the front fender yellow markers?

I don't care for the tinted dark lenses. I don't want to do anything to make my lights harder to see. I like the factory LED housings. I may try and search a couple of salvage sites for a set. I know I will need resistors to use the factory set on my 2021 but I think someone makes a jumper conversion harness for it.

I was looking to use either the Recon's or the offering from Anzo.

Smoked lenses look fine on that ride.
I had them on my 21, but I got a lot of Flack from police including being pulled over twice for not being able to see brake lights well. Especially at night. Wasn't worth the hassle. Went back to the OEM ones.

I had Recon taillights on a few pre-led oem taillight trucks with excellent results. I never bought the smoked lens. Now, I don't see any point in swapping taillights.
